You have taken the first step in conservation. We use energy and water everyday but don’t always conserve like we should.

Simple things like turning off lights when not in use can help or not letting the water run continuously.

LET’S MAKE A CHANGE! IT IS UP TO YOU! CONSERVE ENERGY AND WATER.

The Navajo Nation Telecommunications & Utilities (NNTU) department through Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) secured funding from the Energy Efficiency Community Block Grant for energy promotion conservation activities. Since water conservation is also an important too, we have included it in our activities.

Through this funding, tribal members and Dine Citizens will be informed through print and media campaigns along with on site presentation on conservation measures.

It all starts with each individual, making the decision and making the change. Let’s all do our part.

What you can do TODAY!
"When Not In Use, Turn Off the Juice!"

You do not have to do without to achieve energy savings. There is now an energy efficient alternative for almost every kind of appliance or light fixture. That means that consumers have a real choice and the power to change their energy use on a revolutionary scale.

The average American produces about 40,000 pounds of CO2 emissions per year. Together we use nearly a million dollars worth of energy every minute, night and day, every day of the year.

By exercising even a few of the tips, you can cut your annual emissions by thousands of pounds and your energy bills by a significant amount!
